English Rose — Flex On-Call Caregiver
English Rose is an innovative provider of senior care, specializing in Alzheimer’s, dementia, and complex medical conditions. We also support older adults who are looking for companionship and help with daily living.
We are seeking  On-Call Caregivers to join our Flex Staffing team. This position is designed for caregivers who want  shifts that fit their schedules while still being part of a close-knit, supportive team. It’s a great fit for:

• Experienced caregivers seeking flexible shifts
• Caregivers who prefer  school-day hours
• College students looking for flexibility

Two Care Settings
On-call caregivers may work in one or both of the following:

• Residential Care Homes – Six homes in Edina, Hopkins, and Minnetonka. These are small  home settings that provide both Assisted Living and Memory Care , with a staffing ratio of 1:3 (1:6 overnight).
• Home Health Care – Clients throughout the Twin Cities, with a strong focus in the  south and west metro . Care is provided 1:1 in clients’ homes.

Position Details

• Pay: $25.00/hour
• Shifts: 2–12 hours (from shorter 2–4 hour shifts up to 8–12 hour shifts, based on your availability)
• Must provide availability in advance
• Minimum of two shifts per month

What You’ll Do

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Distribute medications as directed
• Build supportive relationships with residents and clients
• Lead or assist with activities that support well-being

Qualifications
Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of  hands-on caregiving experience with elderly clients (ADLs, med passing, etc.)
• Preference for experience in  multiple care settings (Assisted Living, Memory Care, residential care homes, in-home)
• Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required as we will train)
• Household and cooking skills preferred

• Passion for assisting and caring for elderly residents
• Passion for leading engaging activities with residents to ensure their holistic well-being

Requirements

• 18+ years old; able to pass the MDH background check and tuberculosis screening
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and remain active during shifts
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
