Data Entry Specialist (TEMP) – 100% Remote

$15.50–$17.50/hr | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Anticipated December 1st Start | Estimated 2–4 Month Assignment

About The Opportunity

A large, fast-moving organization is hiring temporary Data Entry Specialists to support a high-volume virtual operations center. This team processes incoming documentation and ensures accurate entry into the company’s internal systems.

This is a heads-down, accuracy-focused role ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a structured remote environment.

Position Overview

The Data Entry Specialist will review incoming digital documents and enter key data points into the company’s internal platform. The role requires strong attention to detail, speed, precision, and the ability to meet daily productivity expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review incoming digital documents for required information
  • Identify and extract key data fields
  • Enter high-volume data using both keyboard and mouse
  • Maintain accuracy and meet daily productivity metrics
  • Follow confidentiality guidelines and internal data-handling procedures
  • Operate within a virtual operations center with the camera on at all times

Critical Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Technical Requirements

  • Typing speed: 40–60 WPM
  • Minimum 95% accuracy
  • Comfort with high-volume, repetitive data entry
  • Experience with Mac computers strongly preferred

Work Environment Requirements

  • Must be on camera during all working hours (excluding breaks/lunch)
  • Must have a dedicated, private workspace with a door
  • Computer cannot face a window
  • Cannot serve as a primary caregiver during work hours
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality

Compliance Requirements

  • Must pass a background check (can start pending but must clear to continue)
  • Must meet internal verification requirements

Process & Evaluation

  • Candidates will complete a data entry skills test (target 45–60 WPM, 95% accuracy)
  • There will be an internal screening prior to submission
  • Client will conduct brief virtual interviews
  • Invoicing and onboarding processes require early coordination with internal teams

Additional Notes

  • Hiring volume is expected to be high (approximately 50 roles)
  • Anticipated start date: December 1st
