Position Summary

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities, personal growth, and social engagement. Your work will help ensure that each individual receives the care and encouragement they need to thrive. This is a hands-on role that requires compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment that promotes independence and self-confidence.
• Assist with community engagement activities and encourage social interaction.
• Monitor and document individual progress and ensure compliance with care plans.
• Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dedication to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all individuals.
