Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Document Management Specialist with hands-on experience using Bentley AssetWise ALIM to support enterprise-level document control and asset lifecycle information management. This role will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing document workflows, ensuring data integrity, and supporting cross-functional teams in managing engineering and operational documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Bentley AssetWise ALIM for document control and asset information management.
• Configure document workflows, metadata schemas, and user permissions to align with organizational standards.
• Support project teams in uploading, reviewing, and approving engineering documents and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with document control procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Train and support users on ALIM functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations to integrate ALIM with other enterprise systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance usability and efficiency.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track document status, revisions, and audit trails.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with  Bentley AssetWise ALIM , particularly in document management and asset lifecycle workflows.
• Strong understanding of document control principles, versioning, and metadata management.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, datasheets).
• Experience in industries such as infrastructure, utilities, transportation, or oil & gas is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of integration with systems like ProjectWise, SharePoint, or ERP platforms.
• Experience with data migration and system configuration in ALIM.
• Understanding of ISO standards related to document control and asset management.
• Basic scripting or automation experience within ALIM or related platforms.
