Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated IT PC Refresh Technician to work on-site with our client, a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components company. This position is 100% on-site in Blacksburg, VA . As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on technical assistance as part of Moog's PC hardware refresh deployment project.
Build, configure, and deploy refreshed computer hardware to end users while ensuring smooth operation of IT systems.
Install and support endpoint software, PC equipment, and accessories.
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to PCs, networks, printers, and applications.
Diagnose, research, and resolve technical issues; escalate to higher-level teams as appropriate.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with end users and technical teams.
Document all incidents, requests, and resolutions accurately in the ITSM/ticketing system.
Provide Level 2 day-to-day technical support to end users.
Assist in after-hours support if needed for critical troubleshooting, maintenance, or system emergencies.
1 2 years of proven experience in a technical support or help desk position.
Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting computer systems and applications.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with service desk tools (e.g., Bomgar or other remote desktop access programs).
Experience supporting Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; IT-related coursework or certifications preferred.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ , CompTIA Network+ , Windows 7/10 , ITIL v4 Foundation , or Dell Proven Professional .
Previous experience supporting enterprise-level hardware refresh projects.
