Job Description

Description of the role: The Maintenance Technician at Best Western Hotel in Aberdeen, SD will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs of the hotel facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests. Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, electrical repairs, and plumbing maintenance
• Responding promptly to guest requests and addressing maintenance issues efficiently
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assisting with renovations and construction projects as needed
• Must have the ability to learn minor repairs needed to guest rooms and other areas of the hotel.
• Minor electrical and plumbing repairs, furniture and fixture repairs, and mudding and painting drywall.
• Will also be testing and cleaning the pool and pool area.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs. 40 hours a week. Weekends a must.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
