Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for an Office Administrative Coordinator. In this position, it will supervise Office Support Staff in the Sheriff’s Office, coordinate and administer office staff issues, office policy and procedures. To perform a wide variety of responsible and in depth financial management, monitors and administers budgetary/accounting responsibilities, monitors revenue and expenditures and administers all grant application, research, administration and reporting; performs detailed timekeeping and payroll processing; Performs a wide variety of responsible and detailed administrative duties in support of the Sheriff and all Administrative staff, requiring understanding of complex policies, processes or technical systems; operates with a high degree of independence; exercises independent judgment and refers only highly unusual or technical problems to the Sheriff; assists the Sheriff with strategic long-term planning.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar education and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Status and Hours: Full-time (based on 40 hours per week), benefit eligible. In this role with Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office, there might be a variation of hours and days to support the agency and County’s needs. This position is not eligible for teleworking.
Starting Rate: $27.72 per hour (DOE)
Target Start Date: On or after January 1, 2026.
