Summary

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about early childhood education to join our staff! The ideal candidate will:

• Have a collaborative spirit- willing to work within a team to support children's learning and growth
• Ability to employ strong communication skills in both verbal and written communication

Duties

We are looking for people who want to help children explore so interests in the arts, science, nature, literacy, or mathematical learning is a plus!
Responsibilities:

• Works with a team to create a high-quality program to support the independence, curiosity, relationships, and learning goals of children aged 2-5.
• Attends to the safety of children at all times.
• Fosters a spirit of exploration and inquiry, a sense of community, and joy of learning.
• Maintains CPR and First Aid certifications and appropriate professional development requirements.
• Upholds positive and interactive relationships with families and community.
• Creates clear and appropriate classroom expectations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the administration to support the overall functioning of the program.
• Maintains an open mind, creative, and curious perspective and approach to classroom interactions.

Requirements

· Education and Experience in Early Childhood Education or related field required. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
·
Ability to remain responsible at all times for the supervision
of children and working cooperatively with a team.
