Project Manager (PMP MS Project Scheduling)

Position Details:

• No. of Positions: 1

• Location: Charleston WV (Onsite Remote work not allowed)
• Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) aligned with Central or Pacific Time
• Candidate Residency: Must reside in Charleston WV at the time of submission
• Interview Type: Virtual only (no face-to-face required)
• Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Project Overview:

This position supports the HI HAP/EDW DDI Project which is at a critical delivery phase. The Senior Project Manager II (Master Scheduler) will manage the integrated project schedule across multiple workstreams and ensure compliance with Federal standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a detailed project schedule for 10 workstreams in coordination with State resources.
• Set up and maintain predecessor/successor tasks and project milestones.
• Ensure the project schedule meets all Federal compliance standards and submit weekly updates.
• Perform resource leveling and calculate project performance metrics (CPI SPI BEI).
• Oversee project contract deliverables track artifacts and submit them to the State repository.
• Support overall project management including risk and issue management to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead and/or attend approximately 25 recurring meetings per week plus ad-hoc sessions as required.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience using Microsoft Project (managing multiple project schedules).
• 5 years of IT Project Management experience.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• 2 years working on enterprise data warehouse (EDW) solutions .
• 2 years experience collaborating with State Government agencies .
• Certifications Required:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PMI Project Scheduler Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
• Knowledge of Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) EDI or general Healthcare IT projects.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Access).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio .
