Full-Time- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Homedica is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive mental health services across a variety of settings—including in-home visits, assisted living and nursing facilities, post-acute care hospitals, and via telehealth. The ideal candidate would commit to a set schedule 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric services in home, facility, and telehealth settings
• Prescribe and manage medications and individualized care plans
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
• Perform evaluations and treat as appropriate.
• Participate in after-hours or on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana
• PMHNP Certification (Dual certified in Adult/Family and Psych is a plus)
• DEA license required
• Strong communication, decision-making, and clinical skills
• Comfortable working independently across diverse care environments

Preferred:

• Facility-based or post-acute care experience
• Prior psychiatric experience
• Experience in home health, hospice, or facility-based care
• Dual Certification willing to work in both an FNP and PMHNP role
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and EMRs
