Job Summary

We are seeking a senior SAP FICO focused Project Manager to lead SAP implementation initiatives with a strong emphasis on Finance and Controlling (FICO) . This role is ideal for a hands-on SAP FICO leader who also brings solid project management experience to drive successful end-to-end implementations, particularly within manufacturing environments . The position requires close collaboration with business finance teams, SAP functional teams, and onsite/offshore delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional lead for SAP FICO , ensuring solution design aligns with business and financial requirements.
• Manage SAP implementation projects with a strong FICO-first approach , ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality are met.
• Lead all phases of SAP FICO implementations, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration oversight, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support .
• Apply deep expertise across SAP FICO functions, including:
• General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
• Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting
• Product Costing and Cost Object Controlling
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Project System (PS), Results Analysis, and Settlement
• Month-End and Year-End Close
• Overhead Assessment and Settlement
• Drive integration between SAP FICO and MM, PP, and SD , ensuring end-to-end financial and operational process alignment.
• Translate complex business and finance processes into clear SAP FICO functional requirements and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls .
• Coordinate and guide onsite and offshore teams , providing functional direction and project oversight.
• Communicate effectively with finance leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams to manage risks, issues, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration , or a related field; MBA preferred .
• 12+ years of SAP experience , with deep hands-on expertise in SAP FICO and at least 3 full-cycle SAP FICO implementations in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading SAP FICO workstreams or acting as a functional lead with project management responsibility.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements .
• Proven ability to work across functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP FICO integrations across MM, PP, and SD .
• Food & Beverage industry experience is a strong plus.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) .
• Experience working within onsite/offshore delivery models .
