About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. SAP S/4 HANA FICO Functional Architect with 14 to 17 years of experience to leverage their expertise in S/4 HANA integrations and financial modules to drive impactful solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance system functionalities contributing to the company’s strategic goals and societal impact.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and implementation of S/4 HANA FI-SD and FI-MM integrations to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
• S/4HANA functional specialist (FICO) with migration/implementation experience
• Oversee the development and optimization of S/4 HANA Accounts Receivables and Profitability Analysis modules to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
• Provide expertise in S/4 HANA Cost Center Accounting and SAP Controlling to support effective budget management and cost control.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine S/4 HANA Profit Center Accounting and Product Costing processes driving profitability insights.
• Implement S/4 HANA Automatic Payments and New GL functionalities to streamline financial operations and improve cash flow management.
• Utilize Generative AI to innovate and automate financial processes enhancing decision-making capabilities.
• Work closely with investment banking operations teams to align S/4 HANA solutions with industry-specific requirements.
• Ensure system configurations meet business needs and regulatory standards minimizing risks and maximizing compliance.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of S/4 HANA systems to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to end-users facilitating smooth adoption of new functionalities and processes.
• Develop comprehensive documentation of system architecture and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system stability, security and performance supporting business continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities user satisfaction.

What you need to have to be considered

• Possess extensive experience in S/4 HANA FI-SD Integration FI-MM Integration and Generative AI demonstrating technical proficiency.
• Have a strong background in S/4 HANA Accounts Receivables Profitability Analysis and Cost Center Accounting showcasing financial expertise.
• Demonstrate knowledge in S/4 HANA SAP Controlling Profit Center Accounting and Product Costing reflecting comprehensive understanding.
• Experience in S/4 HANA Automatic Payments and New GL is essential highlighting operational efficiency.
• Domain experience in Investment Banking Operations and Brokerage is advantageous providing industry-specific insights.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
