- Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.
Responsibilities - Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment, and assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.
- Maintain accurate daily sterilization and testing logs.
- Monitor biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
- Wrap trays, or assembles containers correctly with sterility indicators in place.
- Verify equipment functions, and submit tickets for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the OR Manager or Sterile Processing Lead Tech.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- BLS Certification
- CRCST certification within one year from the date of hire
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Experience in sterile processing
