Description Job Title: Tax Preparer (Entry-Level) - Contract-to-Hire Job Description: We're seeking an entry-level Tax Preparer (1-2 years' experience) for a contract-to-hire role supporting tax preparation, individual tax returns, and basic tax planning using Lacerte Tax. The position also includes light bookkeeping, client phone communication, and taking on various tasks as needed. Responsibilities: + Prepare and review individual tax returns (Lacerte Tax) + Assist with tax planning and advising + Support bookkeeping tasks + Communicate with clients professionally by phone + Stay flexible and handle multiple responsibilities Qualifications: + 1-2 years of tax preparation experience + Strong phone communication skills + Flexible and comfortable wearing multiple hats Requirements - Proven experience in tax preparation and filing individual tax returns. - Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software to manage tax processes. - Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations. - Background in bookkeeping and financial record management. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients. - Previous experience with Intuit Lacerte is highly preferred.
