Crop Farm Equipment Operator position available on a 1000 acre organic grain farm in Central New York. The job includes all aspects of raising corn, soybeans, small grains and hay. Job includes basic maintenance of equipment - oil changes and replacing wear parts, operating 200 Hp tractors for tillage and smaller tractors for planting and weed control. Includes getting the grain into bins at harvest and back out when sold. No previous organic experience is required. Must have a drivers license - CDL a plus. Three years experience on a mixed crop farm and mechanical ability a plus. Must be able to work independently as well as with others in a coordinated effort to get a task done. Four years of college preferred but not required. We offer a paid health insurance plan and NYS Workers Compensation.
