Amergis Educational Staffing is excited to partner with elementary schools in Sharon, MA to hire dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year! ?? Position Overview + Location : Sharon, MA + Start Date : ASAP + Age Range : Elementary School + Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM + Duration: Full 2025-2026 School Year + Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour ?? What You'll Do + Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse needs + Implement behavior support plans and assist with academic activities + Collect and document data on student behavior and progress + Support students with ASD, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges + Assist with changing/toileting as needed ? Who We're Looking For + Experience in Special Education and Behavioral Support + Skilled in de-escalation, data collection, and behavior tracking + Comfortable working in sub-separate classrooms and with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury + Calm, patient, and flexible in dynamic environments + Willing to support other students and classrooms as needed + Calm demeanor ? Requirements + Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities + Proven experience in behavioral support, including de-escalation techniques + Ability to provide academic support in classroom settings + Strong skills in data collection and behavior tracking + High school diploma required + Comfortable working in sub-separate classrooms and with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury Minimum Requirements: + High School diploma or equivalent required + Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
