We are seeking an experienced Storage Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise storage and backup solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, data protection, and scalability of storage infrastructure while working closely with infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS)
Configure, monitor, and maintain storage platforms and backup systems
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and storage optimization
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
Troubleshoot storage, backup, and replication issues
Implement data protection, retention, and compliance policies
Collaborate with system, cloud, and network teams on infrastructure projects
Perform storage migrations, upgrades, and patching
Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures
Provide on-call or after-hours support as needed
Strong experience with enterprise storage technologies (SAN, NAS)
Hands-on experience with storage vendors such as NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, Pure Storage , or similar
Experience with backup and recovery tools (Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, Avamar, etc.)
Knowledge of RAID, replication, snapshots, deduplication, and compression
Understanding of FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB protocols
Experience with storage performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows server environments
