Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Data Manager, the Wine Data Coordinator is responsible for accurate data management, analysis and collection appraisals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Wine appraisal & valuation – domestic acquisitions with some commercial exposure
•  Prepare in-house collection finalizations in Microsoft Excel and communicate results to the Accounting Department
•  Review appraisals valued at $15K and under, provide quotes to Business Development
•  Accurately manage inventory data; rectify physical inventory
•  Research industry data focusing on California and Bordeaux
•  Re-price existing products as necessary
•  Maintain accurate critic scores for new collections
•  Occasional off-site collection pick-ups and travel
•  Adhere to and maintain bottle condition standards
•  Participate in weekly team meetings
•  Provide input regarding department procedures
•  Other activities that we may define together to support the Data Team as necessary
•  On the job training related to wine knowledge and data analysis

Education/Experience Requirements:
•  High school diploma or general education degree
•  2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
•  Strong written communicator

Preferred Experience:
•  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
•  2 years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
•  Comfortable with Microsoft Excel including formulas such as vlookup, sumif as well as using Pivot Charts
•  Industry knowledge and passion for wine

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
•  Ability to write simple correspondence.
•  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
•  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed by uninvolved written or oral instructions.
•  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
•  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
•  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and type.
•  The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear.
•  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
•  The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
•  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
